In the screencast I'm using kvm virtual machine with fresh debian unstable on amd64 and gnome3 in fallback mode (the normal mode does not work under kvm).

xpra version number is 0.10.4+dfsg-2 (you can see this in the screencast too).

• does it work if you change encoding? (ie: jpeg)
• does it work if you disable transparency with:

XPRA_ALLOW_ALPHA=0 xpra start ...

• does it work if you use a different desktop environment? (not gnome3 based preferably)

I have very limited time to test these unfortunately. I have flagged the email so that I remember it but at the moment I have more important things to do.

Would it help if I uploaded the debian desktop virtual machine image somewhere?

Bump - still cannot reproduce, though I use VirtualBox which has better graphics support.
