Ubiquity Slideshow Xubuntu Development

This repository is a bzr-to-git mirror from lp:ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu, forked for Xubuntu development and translations.

All changes have to be manually sent back to Launchpad with a bzr merge request.

Purpose

This branch exists to enable development and translations on the Xubuntu slideshow. Xubuntu-specific translations are synced to Transifex. Once translated at 100%, the translations are committed back to the xubuntu branch.

Implementation

• Bazaar branch lp:ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu is mirrored using git-remote-bzr to our master branch.
• po/xubuntu/slideshow-xubuntu.pot is translated on Transifex from our xubuntu branch.
• Our xubuntu branch is mirrored back to Launchpad at lp:~xubuntu-doc/ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu/xubuntu.

Caveats

• Converting from bzr to git loses the common ancestor with lp:ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu. This means the resulting branches can not be directly merged.
• The xubuntu branch requires manual merges from our auto-updating master branch.
