Could you elaborate on what do you mean by "anything"? Is it plugin's settings? Metabox in post editor?

It is the post editor. I didn't try to save in the plug settings.

I did a small update to Wordpress 4.1 to 4.1.1 I think.
And a small update to seo. I don't remember the exact version numbers
before the seo update.
Before everything was working fine.

I cannot reproduce issue with saving on given version numbers.

Please elaborate on your report, following these guidelines.

I gave you all the details I have.

It is simple. Before I was putting focus keyword saving it was updating the
keyword and re-calculating the score.

Now I do the same - the keywords does not save (the old one remains).

Good luck reproducing this.

I don't think GitHub accepted your email attachment, if you could please post that information directly on issue tracker when you have the chance. :)

Is there any exit-point which the theme should provide for saving this? Can
I double check anything in the theme?
As I said it was working before but nethertheless I will double check
whatever you can tell me.

Since there aren't more similar reports my guess is that it might be something specific to your installation...

I would try to temporarily:

  1. Disable all other plugins
  2. Switch to a native WordPress theme, such as Twenty Fifteen

Hello,

Is there any log I can check and see why save fails?
Is there any specific "theme-hook" which is used by the Wordpress SEO save
and which I can double check it present in the theme?

Thank you,
Virgil

There is no log for save process.

WP SEO uses native WP hooks to deal with saving meta data, they shouldn't depend on your theme (unless your theme somehow breaks the process).
