Changing the ADRESSEMAILADMIN in /var/www/opensondage/app/inc/config.php to be on the same domain opensondage is hosted on fixed the problem, it previously was yunoadmin@our-main.yunohost.domain.
My suspicion is that that originated from a migration as opensondage was installed on the main domain and only later moved to its own domain (which is not a subdomain of the main one). I'm currently unable to reproduce it due to time limitations.
Context
The organization I'm working for owns the yunohost server.
