Robofriends

This is a Single Page App created in React that uses API calls, search functions, state management, and lifecycle methods to display a list of robot friends.

Features

  • User can search for robot friends by name
  • App displays a list of robot friends that can be sorted by name or id
  • User can click on a robot friend to view additional details

APIs Used

JSONPlaceholder API: Used to retrieve a list of users and their associated data

Getting Started

  1. Clone this repository to your local machine
  2. Navigate to the root directory of the project in your terminal
  3. Run npm install to install the project dependencies
  4. Run npm start to start the app in development mode
  5. Open http://localhost:3000 to view the app in the browser

Deployment

To deploy the app, you can use the following steps:

  1. Create a production build of the app by running npm run build
  2. Copy the contents of the build folder to your web server
