Shortly is a Safari extension that helps getting showtlinks to webpages in just one click. Shortly also tries to support native shortlinks like youtu.be, flic.kr or git.io. For more information please visit http://zzhc.org/shortly/
You can install Shortly from Apple's Safari Extension Gallery or from our website listed above.
The source code of Shortly hosted on GitHub does not come with API keys for Google URL Shortener and Bitly. If you want to build your own copy of Shortly, please follow the instructions:
- Find
api-keys.template.jsinsource/. - Fill in your API keys or access token, and rename it to
api-keys.js. - Run
npm install, and thengulp build. - You should be able to find a
Shortly.safariextension/folder underbuild/. - Import it to your Safari Extension Builder and happy building!
