This project is neither alive nor dead. It has been put on pause because the real world got in the way; life happens. If you are looking for an alternative client for Ultima Online do a google search for ‘Orion *Ultima Online Client’. This one is written in C++, but it is also open source and the developers have been dedicated to its success; so they constantly fix bugs and add features to make all of us happy! It is not supporting newer client files with .uop though and the devs say they wont.
