Zapit Optostim

This is the home of the Zapit project: a scanner-based optostimulator system for head-fixed mouse behavioral tasks. Zapit is developed at the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre, UCL.

The Zapit repo hosts the MATLAB code running the scanner calibration GUI, stimulus creation GUI, and the MATLAB API for running experiments. Zapit also availble via the MATLAB FileExchange or through the AddOn Manager, accessible via the MATLAB Toolstrip.

Running in Python

You can acccess the Zapit API via Python.

pip install zapit-Python-Bridge
