Neovim Purity

My initial Neovim setup was a hybrid configuration that would (mostly) load correctly in either Vim or Neovim, depending on which one was launched. This was nice for a while while I still decided if I wanted to stay on Neovim 100%. However, as time went on, and more and more cool things and killer features were added to Neovim and with the rise of amazing Lua plugins, the prospect of maintaining a working hybrid config became more and more unrealistic, and my likelihood of going back to Vim for any reason waned even more.

Thus the decision to make Neovim my permanent home was made, and to break away from the hybrid config and go pure Neovim. At some point, I'll recreate a pure Vim configuration that shall live on its own unconnected from Neovim, likely budding from my Neovim configuration in some bizarre rebirth.

This milestone will be complete when there is no core Neovim functionality (i.e. excluding plugins) still written in Vimscript.
