server side default sortBy and sortOrder

At this moment I am unable to set default �orderBy and sortOrder for server side table version. Regardless what function returns
return {
'rows': response.data.rows,
'header': response.data.header,
'pagination': response.data.pagination,
'sortBy': "mesto",
'sortOrder': "asc"
};
Table seems to ignore that.
