Currently, when you run make html inside of docs, you receive numerous errors for missing dependencies and bad links.

@kerstin Yes, I saw the original issue. The documentation regarding the build failures confused me, so I opened this. I could not tell if your explanation of the issues you were encountering was related, since there wasn't mention of the missing dependencies. I wanted a direct issue to associate with my commit for the resolution and I wasn't certain that issue was what I was looking for given the confusion in the thread.

@mbeacom Ah, I see! We had no idea about missing dependencies, and not knowing why building the docs failed for us was the source for our confusion. If that was the problem, it all makes a lot more sense now. ^^
