[q] Can Linux also be supported? #14
Comments
Hi @0Franky. This will be done. However it is hard to develop and test due to there are so many Linux OS. |
Hi @0Franky, I have been created a branch linux_support and finish with draft code. Due to lacking of physical system with linux install as main system. Would you like to give it a test? I am pretty sure code does not work with vm linux machine. |
Hi @aaassseee, I just tried the Linux feature on Ubuntu (currently xorg, I'll try it also on Wayland). when opened the window I selected the first button and I was trying to change the brightness, but the app crashed (it gave me an error about a pointer -> 0) I'll try it also on arch soon. What version of Linux did you test on? |
@0Franky, I didn't have another disk or space to install a sub-system with linux, so I didn't test it. Would you like to share the full crash log. I may need you to help with completing linux support. |
Hi @aaassseee,
first of all thank you for your contribution!
I wanted to ask as the title suggests, if it is possible to add compatibility for Linux as well.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day!
