Project 2
File Fish is built with JavaScript using Node for the runtime environment, Express to connect to our server, sequelize to template our database & MySQL as our database platform. We are using passport to authenticate a user from the initial window. If the user is authenticated, they will be granted access to the exhibit database & parameters stored in the database. From the members landing page or "dashboard" you are presented with three options; Add a System, Search for a current System or Enter Data on a current system. We give you the option to delete data records as well entire exhibits, if need be.
This app will allow you to record, retrieve, edit & delete water parameters for any size of aquarium facility. It uses an Oracle powered MySQL database that is secure and dependable.
