why the picture size becomes bigger?

I use ReduceHeight function to deal with test.jpg.Then I get test_1.jpg.But the size is more bigger than the original picture.

Not able to recreate locally. What image are you trying to use it with? And can I see the relevant code?

I know why? There is a option about picture quality ，&jpeg.Options{100} . Change 100 to 50 can be more smaller.
