Attempt to detect potential breast cancer from mammograms (MIAS database)

Steps involved in this project are:

• Generate labels of the mammogram images
• Preprocess the images
• Perform statistical feature extraction
• Divide the images into test and training data
• Classify the images using AdaBoost Classifier

Note:

• The images are not included in the repository. Please go to http://peipa.essex.ac.uk/info/mias.html to obtain the images.
• Python and MATLAB are used in this project.
