What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I follow the directions to set this up
2. Here's my executable C:\cygwin_putty\puttycyg-20071202\putty.exe -cygterm -
3. it opens a window that says Cygterm - putty at the top and just hangs

I'm using the latest version of Putty. I just updated cygwin for a windows
version of text mate, but otherwise I'm not sure of the cygwin version.
I'm running XP. I have a centrino duo IBM thinkpad.

Thanks.

Which version of PuTTYcyg are you using? Which version of Windows? What
version of Cygwin? Do you have a dual-core system or multiple CPUs? Any
firewall software installed?

Please provide any additional information below.

This seems to happen if you have multiple copies of cygwin1.dll:

http://cygwin.com/faq/faq-nochunks.html#faq.using.multiple-copies

At any rate, I am not able to reproduce the problem.
