Yith Library - Command line interface
Command line tool for Yith Library.
Right now it can only read the contents of a Yith Library backup file, providing offline access to your protected secrets. Interaction with a remote Yith Library server is planned for future releases (contributions are welcome!).
This client is build on top of node.js, it requires node.js 0.6 o higher to be present.
This package is intended to be installed system wide, so execute the next command with root priviledges:
npm install -g yith-library-cli
When npm finish installing the client, you will have the
First you need to get a copy of the code, just clone the repository:
git clone git://github.com/ablanco/yith-library-cli.git
When the clone is done, you need to install the dependencies:
cd yith-library-cli npm install -d
And now you are ready to start developing awesome contributions :)

How to import from LastPass
The first step is to export your LastPass data in csv format.
Then you use this tool to convert the LastPass backup into a Yith backup file.
yith --import-lastpass <lastpass_csv_file> <yith_backup_file>
Now you can import the Yith backup into your Yith account. You can do it at your profile in our server or your own if you have deployed a custom installation.

How to export to Bitwarden
First you need to download your password in a Yith backup file.
Then you use this tool to convert the Yith backup into a Bitwarden backup file.
yith --export-bitwarden <new_file.json> <yith_backup_file>
Be aware that Bitwarden JSON backups are in plain text!
