With glossarify-md v3.0.0 we announce a new node support matrix.

Node Version glossarify-md compatibility & support status
Current Tested (+ Supported). Should nodejs introduce breaking changes which turn out to affect glossarify-md severely then we may choose to step back from supporting current until it becomes the next LTS.
12.x LTS Tested + Supported
10.x LTS Tested + Supported
8.x LTS Versions of glossarify-md >= 3.0.0 may continue to work with nodejs 8.x but may begin to use JS language features and APIs earliest available with nodejs 10.x LTS. Such changes might be introduced at any time including bugfix releases without classifying them as breaking changes.

The term support refers to supported technically and according to best-effort (see MIT license terms).

BREAKING CHANGE:
End of support for nodejs 8.x (LTS). Versions of glossarify-md >= 3.0.0
may continue to work with nodejs 8.x but may also begin to use JS language
features and APIs earliest available with nodejs 10.x LTS. Such changes
may be introduced with any new version including bugfix versions and without
notice or classification of being breaking changes to nodejs 8.x users.
New node support matrix, see #45.
