Hardware buy #51
Comments
EDIT: Guys, I'm very sorry to say that I'm done with orders. To the people whom I promised here and didn't sent: I'm also canceling these orders. |
I want to buy both please. Im in EU :) Edit a i'm dutch too :) |
I already assembled and sold both adapters to @vergoossen. I have to order
components then, it may take 2-3 weeks to arrive. If you're willing to wait
I can proceed with ordering but I will need a pre-payment first.

I would be very happy to get one. How could we arrange?
I bought more components that I need (for spare) so, if you are in EU, I
can assemble and ship for 25EUR + shipping costs.
This is how it looks like, I can assemble 2 more:

Ok, I already placed an order for new components since I received another request. But due to Chinese new year there may be a delay. I will let you know once components arrived and device assembled |
@serrj-sv if you have some more spare time and spare parts. I'd also be happy to receive two ;) |
yes,I ordered more parts. I put you on the list ))

There are so many types of JST connectors, I already bought a wrong one.
Thanks !

Yes i did. Sorry i was just curious if someone did try. @serrj-sv |

Today I got all parts for soldering a few adaptors, I have parts for 4 in total. If you are interested, contact me. |
@absalom-muc What type of condensator did you use for C2 and C3? Tantalum? |
simple ceramic, no Tantalum |
How can i contact you? im interested in 2 adaptors :) |
@koelkast88 I'd also be interested in two adapters, if they are still available. :) |
If someone in the Netherlands is still looking for these adapters, I have some for sale, in DIY and complete soldered version, see: |
I would buy it. buennerbernd-github@yahoo.com |
I'm too looking for the assembled device (actually I need two). I can cover the software side and reflash the device if necessary but hardware is beyond my skill ;-) @DYLaKo link is dead. |
Just tested the link, it is still working. I still have some units available. |
My fault. I misinterpreted the error message as 404ish - I probably didn't authenticate. Anyway, would you ship to Germany? I'm interested in two units (the premium option with no soldering, please ;-)). Best, Stefan |
I need to check for the shipping cost to Germany, I can do that tomorrow and let you know. How can I contact you? Do you have an email address? |
Posted my mail at https://gathering.tweakers.net/forum/list_messages/2065058 (which is a little more private than github). |
Found it. You should have an email now. |
@jenshorn I just send you an email. You can remove your email address from your post above. |
i have 2 of these units available for purchase, if someone needs it: https://tweakers.net/aanbod/2835762/mitsubishi-ac-wifi-controller.html |
I just got new parts. Email me at |
Last year I bought this one: #51 (comment) My email is below the mentioned message. |
Try to contact one of these (Dutch) sellers Bernd. https://tweakers.net/aanbod/zoeken/?keyword=mhi-ac-ctrl |
Thank you. I’m already in contact with a seller. |
Hi Community, |
Did you make a Tweakers account?

Ich habe ein fertig zusammengebautes Modul und 10 übrige PCBs hier. |
Yes, I've made a tweakers account - doesnt seem to help. |
Alle Komponenten wären einzeln in antistatischen Beuteln original verpackt. Details auch gerne per E-Mail |
Mail ist raus |
Hi all,
I would give the components (single or multiple) at cost price plus shipping (Germany only). Please an info to me. (to: JensAusWOB (at) ist-einmalig (dot) de ) |
In the Netherlands also available in the Nodo-Shop |
Anyone has some pre-assembled devices left over willing to sell? I'm located in Germany. Somehow 1 out of the 2 devices I build did die and I need a new one. Died just like that (AC could not be turned on while it was attached but turned on when I detached it) and I would like to replace it. Don't need the Wemos as this works fine. Don't know why it stopped working just like that... So I'm out of boards and parts and looking for a quicker way to get my hands on at least one of them. Maybe I'm just bad in soldering... 🙈 |
I've heard some talk that the 'level shifter' we use isn't really a level shifter at all; it works most of the time, but it's not an SPI level shifter, those are dedicated chips. I've just finish a new kicad design which actually uses a proper level shifter, and some other goodies. I'll be posting a MR soon! |
Maybe its smart and it is also what you mean perhaps that you create the full package (components) that can be produced by jlcpcb for example as PCB assembly. |
Seems to be matching the observed behavior I have here. I did replace the soldered board with another one and at first, the unit was dead. So I kept it in there since it was already late and wanted to get back to it a couple if days later. And all over sudden the unit was online and the controller working after 2 or 3 days later. So this would, to my understanding, fit to the "work most of the time" part. |
I can't actually push the files yet, as we need LFS support (which I can drop of course as well). I've added some goodies and my repo which does work in the MR :) And yes, it should be JLCPCB assembly service compatible, though I've not tried that yet. |
Hi looking for 2 complete plug and play boards please with the cable so I can mount outside (I don't want to disassemble to get access) Australia. thanks also just want to confirm I can just flash with [MHI-AC-Ctrl-ESPHome] easier for me? |
@EvoSems how do you expect to plugin the cables without disassembly? |
I only want to run the cable to the outside once. Then can detach reattach as I see fit by just opening the lid flap. Sorry it probably didn’t come across correctly. Like an extension cable. Plug in once on the board and re assemble once. Then access to the connection is from under the flap. |
Right, well you can always get one of these: https://www.ebay.com/p/1160173035 (there's cheaper ones too), wouldn't that solve your problem? |
Yes. Perfect. Just what is needed! I had ordered a few other cables from lots of research of different sites. But they turned up too small. Which I learnt now is due to the cn105 interface. This is still a new subject to me. Learning along the way. this seems the most reliable solution. I have just had 2 new mhi units installed. So mhi is totally new to me. But I also want the perfect smart home. : ) |
I’m in Melbourne - interested let me know what your after, just need parts no assembly @addinsella |
What's the latest on turnkey PCB designs like this one? #70 |
Sent you an email @addinsella , cheers! |
Hi,
Is there a place where to buy ready to install hardware?
