We have many active admin resource pages that have a high number of data rows, and it was recently discovered that if we click the csv link to download on a resource that has over 400 rows of data we get an h12 timeout error. Really I am just reaching out here because I would love anyones thoughts, or possible solutions, or if anyone is willing to help me diagnose this problem. This issue is affecting some of our paying customers and we would really love to find a way to resolve it or implement a workaround so we can get this csv feature working again. I have been stuck on this issue for days and I am relatively new to active admin and don't have any senior support on my team, so any help would be so appreciated. I have scoured open and closed past issues, but most of the problems/solutions are 7+ years old and were written before csv streaming was implemented.
I have looked at the issue from the heroku side of things and our thread and dyno loads are not the issue. I was attempting to create a custom button I could add to all our index pages that would send the csv as an attachment in an email using mandrill, but even then, we have customized each of our csv's on the resource pages and I didn't know how I could grab that information to attach it to the email? But if we don't have to implement a workaround and instead could get the original csv link to work, that would be more ideal.
