AeonWave-HD 64 is a Freeware 3D and 4D audio library aimed at the professional simulation, audio, multimedia, game and virtual-reality market supporting Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and Linux operating systems (Intel and ARM). As of version 3.1 AeonWave not only supports large distance outdoor scenes but also has support for indoor sound propagation and sound occlusion. Website: http://www.adalin.com Adalin provides the AeonWave audio engine software under a triple license model designed to meet the development and distribution needs of both commercial distributors (such as OEMs, ISVs and VARs) and open source projects. OEMs, ISVs, VARs and Other Distributors of Commercial Applications: OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), ISVs (Independent Software Vendors), VARs (Value Added Resellers) and other distributors that combine and distribute commercially licensed software with AeonWave software and do not wish to distribute the source code for the commercially licensed software under the GNU General Public License (the "GPL") must enter into a commercial license agreement with Adalin. For Open Source Projects and Other Developers of Open Source Applications: For developers of Free Open Source Software ("FOSS") applications under the GPL that want to combine and distribute those FOSS applications with AeonWave open source software licensed under either the GPLv2 or the the GPLv3 is the best option. AeonWave has defined the FLOSS or FOSS license exception. FLOSS stands for Free/Libre and Open Source Software. Open source projects that exist under a license that is part of the FOSS exception are permitted to integrate the AeonWave library into their code without the GPL restrictions coming into play. Further details on these license exceptions can be found in the COPYING.foss_exception file.
