ADEM DNS Checker

This directory provides a Chrome browser extension that allows to check if websites provide ADEM emblems via DNS.

Installation

The extension has been published at the Chrome Webstore! You can install it as any other extensions in Chrome and Edge.

Download and unpack the most recent extension from the releases page.
Open a Chrome browser (tested with Google Chrome and Edge, should work with Chromium).
Open the extensions settings page (chrome://extensions/ or edge://extensions/).
Turn on developer mode.
Click on "Load unpacked extension".
Browse to unpacked folder from step 1.

Go to any website.
Click on the extension symbol in the upper right corner.
You will very, very likely see the message: "This site is not labelled with ADEM."
Go to https://emblem.felixlinker.de and click on the extension.
You will see "This site is labelled with ADEM."
