Idk what looks good. I just updated with better helvetica but i think it might be a bit too thin. but it's really pretty. lemme know if you guys have font suggestions.

i don't think we should use helvetica for the text, too. Serifs are nice. Try garamond.

Serifs are nice, but Garamond is not a good web typeface because of its
small bowl size. Try Georgia!

that looks better, although there are still a few issues with the typography overall. My suggested changes:

  • The leading on the blurb to the right is too small
  • Main content should be narrower, i think.
  • There should be more space between main content and sidebar.
  • There should probably also be more space between posts.

I don't know about Georgia. But it might also be a spacing issue of the text on the page. Idk.

Actually, yeah, I just don't like serifs. D:

ANYWAY. Adrian said do fonts last, so I guess we can leave this issue open.

I like Baskerville fwiw. it's a serif font.

I vote we use Open Sans. it's the new hotness and looks better than Helvetica.

Not opposed.

http://hellohappy.org/beautiful-web-type/ is worth checking out. (Open Sans on the third part)

Daria, you should make a pull request.

^ Yep. I'm using http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Playfair+Display and Open Sans for my personal site.
