Live Preview Works Fine, Element Highlighting HTML Working Sometimes

Description

I have no issues with the live preview working. The issue is when I click on the element it doesn't always highlight in the preview and also in the HTML. The below screenshots are when it's actually working, though it's not working all the time. I have been searching for answers to this for over a month and it seems that I'm the only one having an issue.

I can't reproduce this error.

LIVE PREVIEW AFTER I CLICK THE ELEMENT (IT'S WORKING HERE):

AFTER THE ELEMENT IS HIGHLIGHTED IN THE PREVIEW, THE HTML IS ALSO HIGHLIGHTED (IT'S WORKING HERE):

Sometimes, nothing happens when I click on the element. Then I spend the next few hours trying to figure out the issue. I have no idea what creates this issue, and have no idea how to resolve it.
