Ghost project at start up #72
Comments
same here, Macmini late 2012, macOs 10.11.6, qgis 3.4.3 |
I have found out that just disabling Mask plugin avoids this startup message. There is no message upon reactivating it during a session, but the message pops up if one try to exit Qgis or start a new project. Just now, while testing this issue, I found out that if there is no open project when activating the plugin it immediately creates a new unnamed project. If there is an open project it marks the project as edited. I prepared two short screen record showing it happening. One without an open project and the other with an open project. Is easy to spot the the edit mark (an asterisk) showing up in the window title bar and in the application button at the task bar. |
same here. Mac OS 10.14.3, QGIS 3.4.4 (Qt 5.12, from homebrew). Did the test with QGis 3.4.1 (QT 5.11, from kyngkaos) : no message. |
Same here. |
It was detected in this issue https://issues.qgis.org/issues/21214 |
Recently I have upgraded the QGis to version 3.4.3 (see about capture attached) on [Xu|U]buntu 18.04 LTS.
After the upgrade, at startup, it asks about what to do with the current project, although there is no project open (See capture image attached).
After many tests I reduced to the Mask plugin. Moving the Mask plugin out and leaving all otherm no question is shown. If I move out all other plugins and just left this one. The question at the startup shows up again.
If it is an issue, please let me know if I can help in anyway.
