Hi, thanks for your work on this package :)

To avoid bloating node_modules, it would be great if redundant files could be prevented from publishing to npm:

https://unpkg.com/browse/is-uuid@1.0.2/

The spec directory and ironically the .npmignore file should be ignored from publishing.
