Description

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Compile core-image-base for raspberrrypi0
  2. Boot the image
  3. See the above message

No idea what is missing here. I also tried adding DISTRO_FEATURES += "systemd", but still /bin/sh is the init process. Is that normal?

My mistake. I was using IMAGE_INSTALL += instead of IMAGE_INSTALL:append.
