Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

Prerequisites

You should have Python 3.x and venv, which is part of the Python 3 library

Installation

First, create a virtual environment

python3 -m venv <my_env>

Activate the virtual environment

source <my_env>/bin/activate

Clone the repo

git clone https://github.com/ahlaw/volume-estimator.git

Navigate to the project directory:

(env) user@machine $ cd volume-estimator

Install the dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

and

npm install

Run web server:

npm start

You're good to go! Open your browser at http://localhost:3000 to start!
