According to Statistics Canada, popularity of my name peaked in 2009 at 0.581%. Admittedly, I would have thought it would be higher than that.
For 2/3s of the year, I study Computer Engineering 💻 at the University of Waterloo 🪿. (I graduate in 2026!!)
The other third I spend working on interesting problems at co-op. I've worked at:
- the provincial government, doing computer vision and NLP
- Huawei Technologies, where I helped create MLACC
- Cosine Networks (a pre-seed network tech startup), working with wireguard
I'm currently at:
- Tristero helping develop the next generation of dark pools.
I am a big fan of lemurs, compilers, Python, data engineering, cryptography, and computer security.
