slash command required options

I'm making a self bot for dank memer, and I'm not sure how I would send a required option with the slash command, I tried
sendSlash("270904126974590976", "item item", "Life Saver")
but it returns this errror
Error: Invalid SubCommand: item is not a valid sub command List of SubCommand: #1 Name: item

That didn't quite work for me but I found out that this works instead
sendSlash("270904126974590976", "item", "Life Saver")
