Any chance we can get a new release? Specifically including the changes in this commit:
ef1cabe
which will fix python 3.7 deprecation warnings.

GitMate.io thinks possibly related issues are #528 (New release), #225 (when a new release?), #411 (Broken compatibility with new release of SQLAlchemy 1.2.0), and #495 (handle Invalid transaction status on released connection).

@asgoel hi! yes. we are preparing a release, it will be version 1.0.0, but we want to fix most of the errors, for this we need to allow the following. #550 #548 #534

I think that in the near future we will definitely release the release candidate at least

@vir-mir, just wanted to check in. Is aiopg any closer to releasing? We would also love a release with the changes in ef1cabe.

Same here, we would greatly appreciate a release with the aforementioned fixes!

I suggest just publishing a release soon.
If it is not ready for 1.0 -- name it 0.17, that's fine.
CI should be fixed though, I hope it can be done easily.
@vir-mir have you time for this?
