The dashboard was designed with KCCA in mind, they have 25 devices and so the ‘28 day means’ and ‘exceedances’ charts both have capacity for 25.
For data providers above that number users will need to make a choice about which locations they wish to see on those and other charts.
Describe the solution you'd like
For data providers above that number users will need to make a choice about which locations they wish to see on those and other charts.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Scenario 1. An internal user such as AIrQo team member will need to specify which AirQo devices are of most interest.
Scenario 2. A multi-access user choosing from a range of providers eg airqo or kcca will need to choose from all available devices subject to permissions.
This selection will most effectively be made from a map showing all available nodes and allowing the user to select the node and use an ‘add to favourites' heart icon on the popup window.
There will need to be some way of tracking the number of items in favourites, Perhaps a number beneath the heart icon
An optional thin pink ring around locations included in favourites.
If a user has access to fewer than 25 locations this is not needed.
Should they start with 0 favourites and a blank chart they need to add to?
Should they be given ‘random’ favourites they can change? If so what is the easiest way to add a new favourite and remove another to keep at 25.
