Parent&Child category assign issue

While configuring a category in expenses and specifically assigning a parent items:

I assigned a Category A to parent category B , however it was supposed to be the 'opposite.
Going to open the screen again it was NOT making me remove the parent category B from category A.
So I assigned category B to parent category A.

Since that time:

• Both expense categories have disappeared from the system
• They no longer appear on the reporting and in the Expenses categories.
• The "Transactions" section no longer opens. I tried re-create them with the same naming but this didn't fix the issue.
