If you would like to give it a shot, my fork ecdye/YAMon-v4 has many fixes applied to the master branch that should help with the stability. I'm not making any promises that it is perfect but in my testing it has been working pretty well.

To install just download / clone the repo to /opt/YAMon4 on your router (make sure to follow the USB steps provided by Al). Then run /opt/YAMon4/setup4.0.7.sh.

The database feature will not work, and other things may be broken as well, but if you let me know I'll try to see if I can fix it.

I have found ONE problem. It didn't update the iptables at all. The -w W1 args in iptables are not supported in the 2 yr old DD-WRT builds I am using. There were some notes as to a workaround in the original / trunk 4.07 due to the iptables command version. I simply deleted all cases of "-w W1" in all the .sh files and it appears to be working. -w problem found when looking at the log files figuring out WHY this didn't log data but webpage worked. I apologize for changing the way those were done. I updated it for my use case and the way Al had done it was not working and caused errors. I'm glad that you got it working.

Ethan: Please don't take as a complaint rather a FYI if you were to be furthering this considerably. It is a really nice tool for monitoring the router traffic. I was quite happy to have figured why the webpage was working fine but no data being populated!! The log file pointed exactly where the problem was. If / when there are updates I am more than willing to test them out. Chad
