They'll probably just stop working, as the service would be shutting down.

Anyone know of an equivalent to @alaingilbert 's amazing API for plug.dj? Seems like most people are heading over there. Their UI isn't ... well, it's not Turntable, but it's the closest copycat around, I think.

Ya... They have a published API. No need for anything else

From what I've seen around, the plug.dj api only works in the browser, I have yet to find a way to make it connect from the server. And I don't really feel like have a browser window open all the time.

Right, same as turntable in that sense. The fellow working on one api which is 10 months outdated says he has moved to soundtrack.io ...

Right, the published API is only for browser extensions. There's a SockJS-backed RPC API, but no published documentation for it.

I'm currently trying to get https://github.com/chrisinajar/plugapi/ working again. If I make any progress I'll make a pull request for it.

Do you have a link to the socks api? Even without documentation it's worth
a look. I've been trying to figure a way to connect from the server, but I
have exactly 0 experience with websocket.

I'm currently trying to get chrisinajar/plugapi working again. If I end up
getting it working well enough I'll definitely put it on GitHub.
