Interactive session plugins for Alces Clusterware that provide different desktop environments or tools for the alces session
action.
You should use these providers in conjunction with Alces Clusterware. Installation of Clusterware session providers occurs as part of the Alces Clusterware installation. Refer to the Alces Clusterware documentation for details of how to enable a session type and start a session.
A session containing the Google Chrome browser.
The Cinnamon desktop environment. Cinnamon is based on the GTK+ 3 toolkit, originally forked from GNOME Shell.
A very simple session containing an xterm
and no window manager.
The FVWM virtual desktop window manager.
The GNOME 3 desktop environment.
The IceWM window manager.
A prettier xterm
-based session.
The Trinity Desktop Environment, based on KDE 3.
