Permissions Checkbox goes red and unfunctional

Using the Latest release version 3.8 from the homepage.

If i revoke the permission to "change status" on a user the Checkbox becomes a little red box that is not functional anymore.

In HTML it now is:
< div class="no_switch" >< /div >

The Admin has no possibility to grant "change status" permission back again after it is revoked once.

Admin can restore their rights using the "dashboard" tab of the admin panel.
Does it solve your issue ?

Thanks for the reply.
Actually I changed canchangestatus to 1 in the bsausr table for my user.
But nice to know there is a better way to do it.
;)

EDIT AFTER CLOSE:
btw. The checkbox goes "red" only in Chrome. Everything works find in Firefox.
