The default sans-serif and especially monospace fonts may look pretty ugly on Windows, mostly because the latter is Courier New by default. Some browsers also use Arial instead of Verdana for sans-serif.

This change makes Verdana and Consolas the preferred fonts over generic sans-serif/monospace. See the effect here.

Thanks @Xion, I don't use Windows, so I skipped tests. 😆
