This is an Android application that demonstrates how to implement an image picker in an Android app without using any external libraries.
The purpose of this application is to provide a simple and straightforward example of how to implement an image picker in an Android app. The application allows the user to select an image from the device's photo gallery or take a new photo using the device's camera. The selected or captured image is then displayed in an ImageView.
To use this application, you can follow these steps:
- Clone this repository to your local machine.
- Open Android Studio and select "Open an existing Android Studio project".
- Navigate to the cloned repository and select the "ImagePickerExample" directory.
- Wait for Android Studio to import the project.
- Connect an Android device to your computer or create a virtual device using the AVD Manager.
- Run the application on the device by clicking on the "Run" button in Android Studio.
Once the application is running on the device, you can select an image from the photo gallery by clicking on the "Select Image" button. Alternatively, you can take a new photo using the device's camera by clicking on the "Take Photo" button. The selected or captured image will be displayed in the ImageView below.
