5/5/2010 : The most important feature I needed to feel free to do serious work was a database (or generally speaking a data repository) that lets different people with different needs and different tastes store their neuronal and behavioral data (and as it seems to be the case other types of molecular and … data) into a single repository without a predetermined data structure. So I needed a document oriented data base. I tried Mongodb and Couchdb. For now I’ve chosen Couchdb and so far I am happy with it.
