I'm probably going to take a break for a while. I've implemented most of the functionality that I need although its still kind of a hybrid between desktop and web.

This app should work on x86 Windows running .NET 4.5.2+

Summary of Features

  • Can post rants and comments with images
  • Customize Rant Feed Options
  • Don't show read posts (limitation is it searches up to only the first 5 pages, 250 results)
  • Following users, will check for new rants and list them in Updates (the Unread will not persist in DB)
  • Save draft rants (for when you hit the limit, these will persist in DB)
  • Checks for new notifications every 5 minutes (this is hard coded)

Limitations

  • Some things aren't implemented yet (see Readme.md) and may never be unless somebody forks this or I suddenly feel I need it.
  • Cannot edit posts or comments yea just realized that myself... that's a big one but hey there's an app for that
