• Version catalogs introduction. It is a list of dependencies, represented as dependency coordinates, that a user can pick from when declaring dependencies in a build script.

Why:

• A catalog helps with centralizing the dependency versions. It defines dependencies and their versions for projects and to generate type-safe accessors
