About The Project

The movie-watchlist app allows the user to search the Open Movie Database for movie titles and save movies to a personal watchlist, stored in local storage.

The app design is from Scrimba. All code was developed from scratch.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.

Installation

1. Get a free API Key at https://www.omdbapi.com/
2. Clone the repo

   git clone https://github.com/allison-truhlar/movie-watchlist.git

3. Enter your API in js/index.js

   const apiKey = 'ENTER YOUR API';
