To test the limits of Ally UI, we want to build two WAI-ARIA widgets: Dialog and DropdownMenu.

The Dialog widget will test:

  • the model sub-component API
  • inter-component ID references
  • focus management
  • state management and propagation to UI

The DropdownMenu will test:

  • DOM measurement and collision avoidance
  • recursive / self-referential sub-components
