MacOS: Theme option 'system' has no effect to the theme

Describe the bug

In The settings I can choose system, light, dark, dracula.
Unfortunately system does not work, it seems just to be the 'light' theme.
I would suggest either fixing the situation of getting the system setting and choosing appropriately, OR getting rid of the choice 'system' to not confuse the others. I would prefer option 1 though 😉

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. mac settings and turn on dark mode
2. click on preferences
3. Choose system as theme (if that is not already marked, like it was in my settings)

Expected behavior
I would expect it to get my system setting and change to light/dark according to my setting. In this case it should be a dark theme.Instead it is still a light theme

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: MAC OSX 10.15.7
• Platform: desktop app
• Version Version 3.1.0 (3.1.0.6753)
