vega3 is marked as decrepited, if I understood well.

ok, a duplicate. just noticed current official pdvega wheel was still requiring vega3.

the installation.html also still refers to vega 3:

jupyter nbextension install --sys-prefix --py vega3

Yes, it should be removed. Everything is different since #30 was merged a few minutes ago, and the docs & dependencies have not been updated.

Consider the master branch in a state of flux at the moment.
