Time Perception: Studies of human time perception show that age-related changes in the nervous system alter one's sense of time; it really does seem to move more quickly with age. For more details, read the The New York Times Article and Prof. Mangan's web page.

The equation of time perception with age:
age in months = (7.67 - dr)/0.03, where dr is the difference ratio between perceived and actual age.
This equation appears in the research paper, entitled "The effect of age and sex on the perception of time in life" on the American Journal of Psychology, Vol. 123, No. 1 Spring 2010, pp. 1-13. You can read the full paper.
In a nutshell, the author tested time perception of 320 persons ( male: 160, female: 160, average age is 35 year 4 months), and obtained the equation above. The equation represents that the relation between the perceived age and the actual age has tendency with age.
- Time Perception: Time is a relative concept. Time perception depends on persons. According to the Conversations with God, the time actually does not exist, but a motion exists. According to the book, "My stroke of Insight", the perception of time resides in the left hemisphere of the brain. Thus, my hypothesis on this app is that "Brain Massage Left" helps sharpen your left hemisphere. This hypothesis was the motive to develop this simple app.
