### Instructions ### ---------------------------------------------------- * Install packages - Install manually java-7-openjdk-amd64 and some packages: build-essentials, node v5.6.0, node-gyp v3.2.1, ant To install build-essential package, type: sudo apt-get install build-essential After download node version 5.6.0 <https://nodejs.org/en/download/>, extract it on /opt/ folder or install by terminal, type: Node.js: sudo apt-get install nodejs Node package manager: sudo apt-get install npm Create a symbolic link for node: sudo ln -s /usr/bin/nodejs /usr/bin/node Install ant: sudo apt-get install ant ./configure sudo make sudo make install The next step is install node-gyp. Type: <https://github.com/nodejs/node-gyp> npm install -g node-gyp - Check if your jdk is installed on /usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-amd64 folder. If its is not there, you can modify on makefile the correct path on JNI variable or install from terminal the packages: sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jdk openjdk-7-jre
