With hierarchy, try differentiating size differences your h1s, h2s, etc. The CSS Zen Garden header looks a lot like the "Beauty of CSS" header (I don't know if that was on purpose or not, though).
Also with the HTML and CSS buttons on the top (I'm not sure exactly how you would go about this) but adding some flare to the text might be fun. Whenever I think of pop art I think crazy and extravagant type with funky details and patterns.
I really like the consistency with all the links being blue! and that you made the HTML and CSS big circle buttons too!

I really loved the picture you had when you presented your mockup to us. I would love to see you throw those back in. And maybe, as Janina said, think about throwing some more textures in there. Could help give the site a little "pop."
@jhartley1412 It was on purpose, but if it's weird I'll play around with it some more. I think you're right about the buttons. Hoping to animate them and add stripey texture.
