<p>We can classify the software into 2 different way.</p>

<li>Generic Software.</li>
<li>Customized Software.</li>

<h4>i. Generic Software.</h4>
<p>➡️ It is designed for a broad customers market, whose requirement are very common and well understood by the software engineers.</p>
<p>Example:👉🏼 CRM, ERP etc.</p>
<h4>ii. Customized Software.</h4>
<p>➡️ Customized product are those that are development for a customers where domain, environment & requirement being unique to that customers who can not be satisfied by the generic products.</p>
<p>Example:👉🏼 Traffic management system, Hotel management system etc.</p>

<p>➡️ Software matrices are quantifiable measure that could be measure different characterstic of the system or system development process.</p>
<p>Categories of matrices:- </p>
<p>There are 3 categories of matrices:- </p>

<li>i. PRODUCT MATRIX.</li>
<li>ii. PROCESS MATRIX.</li>
<li>iii. PROJECT MATRIX.</li>

<h4>i. Product Matrix</h4>
<p>➡️ Product matrix describe the characterstic of the product such as size complexity design features, performance, efficiency, reliability, probability etc.</p>
<h4>ii. process matrix.</h4>
<p>Process matrix describe the effectiveness & the quality of the software products.</p>

<p>➡️ Customer define a set of general objective for software but doesn't identify detailed input, processing or output requirement. In other cases the developer may be efficiency of any algorithm the adoptibility of an OS(operating system) of the fall that human/machine interaction should take place. Prototype model begining with the communication developer and the customer meet & defined the overall objective for the software, identify whatever requirement are known and the outline areas where further defining mendatory. The prototype model is very useful for developing GUI part of a system.</p>

<h5>Advantages ⤵️</h5>
<li>i. Suitable for large system for which there is no mannual process to define the requirement.</li>
<li>ii. User training to use the system.</li>
